Lost in Yonkers

by Neil Simon

Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers is a Tony Award-winning Broadway play. Set in 1942 Yonkers, New York. This is a human comedy about two young brothers, Jay and Arty, who are forced by cirumstances to live with their austere and demanding grandmother, their loving, high-spirited, and childlike Aunt Bella, and their tough-talking gangster Uncle Louie. While firmly anchored in time and place, the play's strength lies in its larger view of how human differences, pain and lots of humor go into the making of a family. It's an ageless and universal theme which Neil Simon pursued with great dramatic insight to win a Pulitzer Prize.

Borelians Bring Home THEAS!

The Borelians Community Theatre, now in its 38th year, are proud of its many members who made such a strong showing at the recent ACT-CO (Association of Community Theatres – Central Ontario) Awards Gala.
